Marriage: Possible other marriage, a Louisa Wild, buried in Evergreen #1 Cemetery in Medford, Taylor WI, next to Arthur Wild and Edward Wild both who died as infant or youth. Headstone says Louisa Wild 1858-1902. Note also Fred Wild has daughter who dies as infant with name of Louisa.

Biography: Personal information from rosalind wild and lillian clemans state that they have been told numerous times by Emilie that she, Emilie, was sold to Fred Wild for the price of a cow and was 17 while Fred was 42 when married. Never had any love for the man just cooked, cleaned and worked on the farm.

Personal knowledge of margie thorne, bertha bucknell, lillian clemans and william clemans, Henry Wild was warmly referred to as "Smiley" because he was often happy with drink. He was a heavy drinker as were all the Wild boys of this family.

DEATH: PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE, JAMES CLEMANS: I knew her until she died living in Abbottsford, then in the nursing home of same town with Uncle Jack watching over her, husband died many years earlier strong, big women, made beautiful quilted pictures and crafts, wouldn't wear shoes, calouses on feet as a child working in fields, my mother
worked for her.

MARRIAGE: second marriage to Martin Olsen, changed her name back to wild after he died., parents Johan doberstein and Karolina Geunter. Personal knowledge of margie thorne and bertha bucknell, they say that she divorced him. He wasn't a farmer and good at that type of work.

Per daughter Rosalin "Rose" Wild her mother was bought by Fred Wild for 1 Cow per Emilie, Fred was 42 and Emilie 17 when married. She made rugs out of old clothes and quilted pictures after farming most of her life.

Hard work and not nice work in those days. Another Mill opened in Eau Claire,WI and Henrietta worked there also and lived with Gussie Werner in Eau Claire, WI for a time.

Sister Hattie once went when her daughter Ruth lived there. Phil and Hattie recounted to Geneva, gathering leaves to stretch the hay for the cows when they lived on the farm in Ballard.
